How do I remove a device from DStv Now?
To remove a device from your list of devices on DStv Now, tap the settings icon at the bottom of your app. Under Account, select Manage Devices. Here you’ll find a list of devices connected to your account. To remove a device, select Remove next to the device you want to eliminate.
Note that you can only remove 2 devices from your list of devices in six months.
What are the best quality settings?
The best video quality settings for DStv Now are the default settings. This is normally at a default state of 720p and that means an average data consumption rate of 1.3GB per hour. This works fine on smartphones and I do not recommend changing it unless you are using a smart TV with a big screen. The highest video quality is 1080p (HD) with an average data consumption rate of 2.3GB per hour.
You can always adjust video quality settings to meet your needs. To adjust video quality on DStv Now app, touch the setting icon at the bottom, scroll down to Maximum Video Quality and touch it to choose your desired quality.
Why is Dstv Now not showing all channels?
When this happens, there are normally two predominant reasons:
- Expired subscription
- Poor internet connectivity
The first thing you should check should be your internet connection. Be sure your data is turned on and your internet is working properly.
If your internet is fine, you still won’t get all channels if your subscription has expired. Check to see if you still have an active subscription and restart the app to try again. A poor internet connection can cause you to see a blank screen when you attempt to view a channel.
Also, if you have just paid for a package, you have to wait for activation instructions to reach your account before all the channels can show up on the app.
